A hands-on, half-day bootcamp designed for aspiring sports broadcasters and media students who want real insight into working in live sport. Led by an expert panel of industry professionals — including a reporter, presenter, camera operator, pundit and commentator — this session combines honest career advice with practical, on-the-floor experience.
The bootcamp begins with a panel discussion exploring the different roles within sports broadcasting, career pathways, and what it takes to break into the industry. Attendees will then rotate through practical workshops with each panelist, gaining first-hand experience using broadcast cameras and microphones, trying out presenting and commentary, and receiving direct feedback and tips from working professionals.
